Yucca gloriosa 'Variegata'

Yucca gloriosa 'Variegata' is an extremely attractive cultivar of Yucca gloriosa with broad creamy-yellow stripes on the foliage making it both colourful and eye-catching. Like the type species it is a tough trunking Yucca that eventually branches into a large shrubby clump. Because it has less chlorophyll it is slower-growing and less vigorous than the type species but more than compensates for this with its classy elegance and the way it brings light to a planting plan.
