Brachyglottis 'Drysdale' is a New Zealand cultivar from the group of hybrids known collectively as the 'Dunedin Group' which owe their parentage to Brachyglottis greyi, Brachyglottis laxifolia and Brachyglottis compacta. Brachyglottis 'Drysdale' is a compact form with spectacular whitish-grey foliage, woody stems and yellow daisy-like flowers. The silvery leaves are oval-shaped and the white on the undersides extends to the margin giving them a crisp white outline from above. This is a plant that works very well with Mediterranean style plantings.
