Petrosedum sediforme, Pale Stonecrop is an attractive and tough drought-tolerant groundcover from the Mediterranean. It develops delightful colours of yellow and red when the weather gets warmer and drier whereas it grows quite green in the shade and under wetter conditions. A very easy plant to grow, foolproof really. It is perfect for a gravel garden or a hot dry aspect where it can display its colours and show you how tolerant of neglect it is.
