Delosperma sphalmanthoides, Tufted Ice Plant, is the smallest and probably the most aethetically pleasing of all the Delospermas. A beautiful plant, it forms a dense mat of closely-arranged succulent leaves - small, chubby finger-like leaves that are somewhat glaucous and create a visually-appealing ground-hugging carpet. In late spring and summer it is covered in fluorescent magenta-pink flowers
