Roscoea cautleyoides 'Kew Beauty' is a selected form of Roscoea cautleyoides with a robust habit, wider foliage and larger flowers than the type species and quickly forms vigourous large clumps. The flower is a pale primrose yellow (the type species can be variable) and the flower is also somewhat larger than the type species. There is a soft violet colouration around the calyx as the bud ripens.
A superior form. Recommended. Possibly a hybrid between Roscoea cautleyoides and Roscoea humeana. All our Roscoeas are propagated vegetatively.
