Euphorbia enopla, Pincushion Spurge is a slender cactus-like ribbed succulent Euphorbia from a relatively small geographical range focused on the western part of Eastern Cape around Willowmore and northeast towards Jansenville and Graaff-Reinet. It forms slender columnar stems that branch profusely - particularly from the base - and in time form a tall rounded spiky clump. In its native range it can form a bush to 1 metre high. The spines are reddish-brown turning purple-blackish and becoming grey with age.
A very attractive easy-to cultivate Euphorbia that makes an ideal houseplant. It needs a well-drained gritty substrate and a light touch with the watering.
