Hosta 'T. Rex' is an enormous Hosta cultivar with large dramatic foliage that in size is probably second only to Hosta 'Empress Wu'. It appears to be somewhat more vigourous than Hosta' Empress Wu' rapidly throwing up its foliage in April and May and creating a gigantic tall clump. The giant foliage is green and heavily corrugated.
A hybrid of Hosta montana f. macrophylla and Hosta 'Big John' developed by D. & J. Ward in 1999.
