Cyclamen coum is a delightful and rewarding hardy woodlander with distinctive round petals and rounded silver-patterned foliage. Flowering through winter to early Spring when so little else is in bloom they bring a warm cheer to the winter garden.
Cyclamen coum requires a humus-rich soil with good drainage and are ideally situated beneath the branches of tall shrubs or trees. They are dormant durning the summer months and although very tolerant of neglect should not be allowed to dry out completely. A well-prepared soil with plenty of organic matter and a mulch of leaves is all that's needed.
