Tigridia pavonia 'Lilacea' is a stunning cultivar of Tigridia pavonia, Mexican Tiger Flower with pinkish-purple flowers and white spotted markings within the internal circular structure.
Tigridia pavonia 'Lilacea' blooms throughout the summer with each individual flower usually lasting a day or sometimes two days with a continuing succession of flowers throughout the summer. It is very easy to cultivate, requiring a warm sunny aspect and a well-drained soil. A sheltered location is ideal as the foliage and flowers grow tall and can be blown down in strong winds.
