Salvia 'Hot Lips' is a small half-hardy shrub with eye-catching red and white bicoloured flowers that somehow always manage to put a smile on your face. The flowers have the typical hooded Salvia structure and depending on which way you look at them they can resemble a bright red beaming set of lips or an upside-down heart.
Salvia 'Hot Lips' has an incredibly long flowering season and will produce its little floriferous bundles of joy from Spring through until late autumn. Dead-heading throughout the summer will invigourate the plant and extend the flowering period even more. Plants can be somewhat variable, with some having more red flowers.
Very attractive to pollinators.
