Crocosmia 'Emberglow' is an aptly-named tall-growing Crocosmia with deep scarlet-red flowers that have a chrome-yellow throat that seems to glow against the red of the rest of the flower. Usually taller than 'Lucifer' (both hybrids were developed by Alan Bloom), the red tone is also deeper and - in my view - more satisfying than 'Lucifer'.
A large clump of these fiery Crocosmia gives a very hot exotic flavour to the underplanting.
Highly recommended.
