Phlomis russeliana, Turkish Sage is an attractive tall-growing hardy perennial with large soft spearhead-shaped leaves and exotic clusters of pale-yellow hooded flowers that encircle the stem at intervals like a spire of yellow quoits or coronets. In time it forms an impressive large clump and during the summer months when it is flowering, the bees go crazy for it.
It is extremely easy to grow prefering a sunny aspect and tolerating dry conditions.
It can be cut back in the autumn when the stems become straggly or it can be left throughout the winter when the skeletal spires will form interesting shapes in the morning frost.

Turkish sageThis plant arrived a week later in good condition and beautifully packed by your work force. However, I have one suggestion to make. It would be helpful to the DHL courier if instructions were put on the front of your cardbox package stating "Live plant, keep upright" to enable the roots of the plant to stay at the bottom of the package. DHL delivered the package recovered with their own plastic wrapping; unfortunately, the package was delivered with the plant kept lying on its side probably overnight, such that the top half of the plant was bent when the box was opened up.
