Lamprocapnos spectabilis 'Valentine' is a relatively new cultivar of Bleeding Hearts that has striking red hearts and showy foliage that emerges reddish. The stems are also red. It requires a humus-rich but well-drained soil in a sheltered, shady spot. It is hardy in the UK but requires protection from a late frost.
