Kniphofia 'Dingaan' is a tall robust cultivar with large yellow flowerheads turning a coppery orange yellow as they mature. Introduced by Bob Brown in 2000, it is a seed hybrid from Kniphofia uvaria 'Nobilis'. It flowers from June to August, its tall yellow flowerheads and the red-flowering 'Nobilis' both towering over smaller varieties. Named after the Zulu king.
