Houttuynia cordata 'Flore Pleno'

Houttuynia cordata 'Flore Pleno' is the double-flowered form of Orange Peel Plant that creates a vigorous groundcover mat with green heart-shaped foliage - often edged in red - and a white double flower. It has a curious orange-peel aroma when rubbed and has long been used in Asia for its many health-promoting properties

As with all cultivars and forms of Houttuynia cordata, the double-flowered 'Flore Pleno' is potentially an invasive plant and care should be exercised when planting it. Ideally, it should have its root-run restricted in a large shallow container to prevent it spreading out of control.
