Fritillaria meleagris 'Alba' is the white-flowering form of the Snake's Head Fritillary. A very easy and rewarding Fritillaria, this form has the grace and elegance and exotic air of the more usual purple Fritillaria meleagris but its pure white colour is altogether less sinister and sombre in overall feeling.
