The most successful - and popular - Dahlia cultivar ever, 'Bishop of Llandoff' is a stunning crimson red-flowering Dahlia with dark chocolate-purple finely-cut foliage. Its single-form flowers with contrasting bright yellow anthers are such a simple charm after the often over-ornate complexity of many Dahlia cultivars and provide sustenance for pollinating bees.
A classic Dahlia since its first introduction in 1924, 'Bishop of Llandaff' is an old favourite for many gardeners. Deservedly so.
