Caladium bicolor 'Royal Flush'

Caladium bicolor 'Royal Flush' is a stunning cultivar with a deep-red/pinkish centre surrounded by a bright green margin. It does indeed look like a green-rimmed Ace of Hearts. A fabulous plant!

Grow Caladiums in a warm semi-shaded location either as a houseplant or in the garden during the summer months. A bark mulch helps to achieve high humidity. They have very tropical requirements and are sensitive to cold. The tubers should can be lifted as early before night-time temperatures start to plunge. Keep the tubers dryish during the long winter dormancy and pot up again in spring. You will probably need bottom heat to get them growing again.

Ideal as a houseplant if humidity can be maintained.
