Arisaema griffithii, Cobra Lily, is one of the most dramatic of a the genus with a massive green and maroon spathe arising swiftly from the ground like the hooded shape of a cobra. This spathe is prominently striped with veins and spotted with leopard-skin markings in a dazzling display of botanical beauty.
It requires shade and a substrate with perfect drainage and should sit on a bed of sand and coarse bark and be thickly mulched in the winter.
